Engage Consult

Our online Engage Consult service can be used to request help for specific conditions or general medical advice. Sick notes (fit notes) can be requested and there is also an admin option where you can request prescriptions or GP letters etc.

Requests can be submitted during the following times:

  • Medical requests:  8am - 12pm (Monday – Friday)
  • Admin requests:  8am – 4pm (Monday – Friday)

Please be aware that the Medical Requests section may close earlier than 12pm once daily capacity has been reached. Capacity depends on the number of clinicians available each day.

 

Using Engage Consult

  • Scan one of the QR codes below to download the Engage Consult app from your app store, then create an account. Please ensure push notifications are switched on.

  • Alternatively, visit Engage Consult , create an account then complete a short form about your symptoms or request.

  • A clinician will review your request and decide on the most appropriate care. The Practice will then contact you by phone or email with advice, a prescription, or an appointment if needed.

 

Need help using Engage Consult?

If you’re unable to complete an Engage Consult request yourself, our administration team can submit one for you. Please be reassured that our staff are not being intrusive — they are following GP instructions and are bound by the same strict confidentiality rules as our clinical team.

Depending on your symptoms or request, you may be directed to your local pharmacist, dentist or optician, who may be best placed to help you.

If you experience any difficulties downloading or using Engage Consult please come to reception where our administration team will be happy to assist you.
